Immersed in a forest of larches, meet the alpine fauna of the Valais. The highest zoo’s Europe spreads over 35'000 m2. Get up close to bears, lynx, foxes, deer or marmots and many other representatives of the 150 species living or having lived in the Alps in the authenticity of their habitat.
The Marécottes swimming pool is a small natural lake between two rocks and surrounded by greenery. It meets the strict hygiene standards of public swimming pools. 70 meters long, water of 24 to 17 degrees (solar heating). The swimming pool and the restaurant of the zoo are all located in the same place in the alpine village of Les Marécottes. The pool is open from June to September.
