2. Persons who practice ski mountaineering, off-piste skiing or hiking in particular snowy environments, even with snowshoes, where, due to the snow and weather conditions, there is a risk of avalanches, must be equipped with appropriate electronic signaling and search systems, a shovel and an avalanche probe, to ensure an adequate rescue intervention.
3. The operators shall display the avalanche bulletins drawn up by the competent authorities on a daily basis, ensuring maximum visibility.
4. The operator of the equipped ski area, if the general snow and environmental conditions allow it, may designate specific routes for the ascent phase in the practice of ski mountaineering.
Compulsory insurance
1. Skiers who use the alpine ski slopes must have valid insurance covering their civil liability for damage or injury caused to third parties.
The operator of equipped ski areas, except for those reserved for cross-country skiing, is obliged to make available to users, upon purchase of the ski pass, a civil liability insurance policy for damage caused to persons or property.
